Our IELTS Programme

Yes You Can Education offers Academic and General Training preparatory classes. The Academic IELTS is for students seeking to study abroad (English speaking countries) or are professionals such as Doctors or Nurses seeking to commence employment in the UK. For students seeking to study in the UK, they are required to take the IELTS ACADEMIC UKVI exam.

On the other hand, the IELTS General Training is for individuals who are seeking to migrate to an English speaking country such as Canada.

Yes You Can Education provides IELTS preparatory classes for students via its in-person class learning or online learning programme. Our classes are
for a period of 5 weeks which spans a total of 9 classes and includes a revision class and mock examination..

Our physical classes are Tuesday and Wednesdays 11am-2pm and Saturdays (marathon class) 9:30am-3:30pm for those that cannot make Tuesday and Wednesday classes due to work etcetera. For our online programmes, our classes are Thursday and Friday 11am-2pm.

We also provide training materials for our students to use for practice. You can have access to our library and resources in order to prepare for the exam.

What are the types of IELTS?

• The Academic IELTS is taken by candidates who are looking to study in countries that require IELTS or for Doctors and Nurses seeking to work in the UK.
• The General Training IELTS is for candidates who are seeking to migrate to
Canada while the LIVE SKILLS IELTS is for people seeking to join their spouses in the UK.

What does the IELTS exam consist of?

The exam is divided into 4 parts, namely: The Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking tasks.

Is the exam paper based or computer based?

The exam can be delivered in your preferred manner (computer or paper taken).

When will I receive my result?

Paper-based exam candidates receive their certificate 13-14 days after the exam date, whereas, the computer-based exam candidates can have access to their certificates 5-7 days after the exam date.

Do you offer classes on IELTS?

Yes! We offer a variety of in-person and online classes to fit your specific schedule. Classes last for 5 weeks and after the completion of that time span, a mock examination is taken by the student.

What days are the classes and what time?

• On Campus Classes: Tuesdays and Wednesdays (11am – 2pm)
• Online Classes: Thursdays and Fridays (11am – 2pm)
